Take a look at our new WelcomeGNV page. If you are new to Gainesville, tell us what else you would like to know. If you are a Gainesvillian, what else whould we share with new residents?
Code for America is a national non-profit that supports civic coding.
Are you a community organizer, designer or developer? Do you want to work towards solving some of Gainesville’s pressing challenges? Are you excited to meet and collaborate with other change makers? We invite you to the Code 4 Gainesville brigade!
We are also looking to fill leadership roles. This group will continue to develop civic-minded solutions to community problems over the next year.
The event was part of Code for America’s National Day of Civic Hacking on September 12, 2020, held virtually. The event was sponsored by AARP and the theme was “How do we create a social safety net to help make Gainesville a more livable community?”
You can look through the final presentation from the event and see the solutions presented by participants in the link below.
